The Young and the Restless Spoilers (YR): Will Nikki Fall Into Victor’s Iron Grip Once Again?

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Friday, July 7 bring Genoa City closer to Nikki’s recital — will it happen? Plus, Mariah asks Sharon a question her mom likely doesn’t want to answer — or think about, while Kevin demands even more of Chloe’s mom.

The Show Must Go On? Or Does It?
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is back!

She took off because she couldn’t deal with the pressure of playing in the concert Victor (Eric Braeden) bullied her into, even with Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) encouragement.

Well, now Nick (Joshua Morrow) is either trying tough love or reverse psychology. In any case, he tells Nikki he doesn’t want her doing that.

Nick has every reason to be furious with his dad, both about what he’s done to Nikki, and about 10,000 other things. But that doesn’t mean he can tell his mother what to do.

If Nikki doesn’t deserve to be bullied by her husband, the same goes double for her son. Let the woman make her own decisions! Even if, usually, they involve Victor… and are bad.

Hit the Road, Kev
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) rescued Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) from the whacko Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez), who thought Chloe was his dead daughter. Now Chloe and Kevin want to get their own daughter and go on the run.

But first, they have to go through Chloe’s mom, Esther (Kate Linder) and convince her that life as a fugitive is the best thing for Bella — and Chloe.

So it’s a case of the blind leading the blonde when Mariah goes to her mom for advice, wondering if a woman ever gets over the love of her life.
