The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Friday, February 9 catch Chelsea reeling from a mysterious threat, Phyllis struggling to convince Nick that she’s right — and Chelsea is lying, and Victor singing yet another verse of why Father Knows Best… always.

Secrets Of the Crypt
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has been spending a lot of time lately hanging out at Adam’s final resting place. Not that we’re all that sure he is, in fact, really most sincerely dead, but we’ll humor Chelsea for now.

She’s even stashed some money there. Like the Egyptians did when they sent their dead to the afterlife with gold, spices, pets, servants, and spouses.

Chelsea is back at the crypt. But this time she is not alone.

And Chelsea’s visitor has a message for the born-again con-artist that spins Chelsea off into her most desperate plan yet!

Past Versus Future
While Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) current love is spiraling out of control — and wondering how she can use his “son’s” paternity to control the situation — Nick’s ex, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is a woman on a mission.

She is convinced that Chelsea is the ‘Alexandra West’ who robbed Fenmore’s.

What other reason would there be for Chelsea to have wads of cash stuffed into her walls? Then again, if she knew that Nick was going to be remodeling, why didn’t Chelsea move it ahead of time?

Phyllis doesn’t have time for those kinds of details. She knows she’s right, and her goal is to convince Nick he’s living with a thief!

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is not happy having to compete with Ashley (Eileen Davidson) at the office. Victor (Eric Braeden) tells her to suck it up. Pressure makes diamonds. Having to prove herself against an opponent will make Victoria stronger.

Victor had made his decision, and he’s standing by it. Also, her son’s hair is too long.
