The Young and the Restless Spoilers (YR): Victoria Makes a Bad Life Choice

The Young and the Restless (YR) spoilers for Monday, August 7 find Victoria acting like she’s fallen on her head, Billy worrying, Hilary taking advantage of it, and Cane giving Juliet an update on his family situation.

Head Lines
First, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) took a tumble after Abby (Melissa Ordway) pushed her at Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) concert fundraiser after-party. Then she passed out in an elevator. The doctor said it was a concussion. Nothing to worry about.

But Victoria wasn’t totally honest with him. She forgot to mention that she’s been hearing weird, distorted voices in her head. That’s usually a sign of… something. Something rarely good.

But, eh, it’s probably no big deal. It certainly can’t be responsible for Victoria going from resisting Ben Hochman’s (Ben Hermes) rather obnoxious advances to propositioning him… and waking up in his bed.

Missing Person
Billy (Jason Thompson) goes looking for Victoria, but she’s otherwise predisposed (see: bed, Hochman). Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) isn’t particularly concerned, though she’s the one who pointed Ben in Victoria’s direction.

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) makes it her business to know whose bed Victoria has been sleeping in. And she runs to tell Jack (Peter Bergman) because… she can?

Situational Awareness

Situational Awareness
Lily (Christel Khalil) threw Cane (Daniel Goddard) out after she learned he was responsible for Billy’s gambling scandal — and for stealing the kids’ tuition money to keep his blackmailer quiet.

So now Cane has nowhere to go. And because Genoa City is a disturbingly small town, he finds his path crossing with an equally aimless Juliet (Laur Allen).

We know why he’s staying in town, but why is she?

She’s got enough money to go anywhere she likes now. How about back to Japan, where she presumably still has friends and a life?

Will Cane’s news be the best reason for Juliet to keep sticking around?
