The Young and the Restless Spoilers (YR): A HORRIFIC Truth!

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Thursday, April 12 reveal Victoria facing the truth about her relationship with JT, not just to other people, but to herself, as well. Plus, Mariah lets her hair down for a change.

Look What You Made Me Do!
JT (Thad Luckinbill) was wrong to lie to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about why he was really in Genoa City.

JT was wrong to manipulate her, and he was most certainly wrong to physically attack her.

But JT was not wrong about Victor (Eric Braeden). Victoria’s dad is the master manipulator where Victoria is concerned.

One day he loves her and trusts her and wants her to run his company. The next, he still loves her, but he can’t possibly trust her with Newman Enterprises, and here are Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) – Victor’s back-up family – to take her place.

No wonder Victoria was vulnerable to JT treating her the same way. She started to doubt herself.

And that made it difficult for Victoria to trust her instincts when it came to seeing JT’s escalating violence.

Even when Mac (Kelly Kruger) and Sharon (Sharon Case) tried to nudge her in that direction.

So when Victoria finally admits the truth, it’s a big moment. She reaches out for help. But accepting it herself will be the true major step.

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) hasn’t had much to smile about lately.

The relationship with Devon (Bryton James) went nowhere. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) was even worse.

Not only did she not return Mariah’s love, but she took the words that Mariah wrote about that love…and stole it for her own song.

Then she kind of disappeared off the face of the Earth.

But Mariah is ready to take a break from her moping. Watch out, Genoa City!
