The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for February 5-9 promise a week when the competition heats up and walls start closing in.
The Chase Is On!
Any hope Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has of getting away with her scam is out the window when J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) starts closing in.
Not only is he hot on her trail but Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) notices some rather startling ways Chelsea’s acting and gets suspicious herself.
Unfortunately, rumors spread like wildfire and even Nick is second-guessing his girlfriend. The money, Chelsea’s lack of urgency, and her secretive attitude have him slowly putting the pieces together.
Nick’s dated some rather shady women in the past and he’s easily blinded by love.
Thankfully, he has Sharon (Sharon Case) to lean on. However, the advice she gives may not be what he wants to hear.
Power Plays
The Abbott family drama kicks into high gear as Ashley sets down roots at Newman Enterprises. She’s making alliances, lining up her enemies, and keeping targets squarely in focus. She has no qualms about tearing down whoever it takes to keep her on top of the food chain.

She’s losing her magic touch with Victor (Eric Braeden) and realizes she’ll have to go bigger if she wants to keep her right-hand spot.
Fizzling Affairs
Trouble at work won’t be Vicky’s only woes. She’s having a tough time adjusting to her rekindled romance. She and J.T. aren’t the same people they were all those years ago and they’re feeling the disconnection.
Sadly, they won’t be the only ones navigating murky waters. As much as Lily (Christel Khalil) loves Cane (Daniel Goddard) and wants to love Sam, she just can’t get the affair out of her head. Her storybook life may never be the same or even come close to that place again.
