The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Monday, July 31 are all about close calls, as his family comes closer to learning Cane’s secret, Lily just misses launching a new career, and Sharon gets an actual call from Crystal.

Call Me!
Paul (Doug Davidson) prepped Sharon (Sharon Case) on what she should do if Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) reached out to her again.

Sharon should try to figure out Crystal’s location, but he didn’t tell Sharon what she should do if Crystal thinks she’s being followed — then hangs up without offering anymore details.

Will Sharon try to track down Crystal on her own? Is she biting off more than she can chew? Is she putting her family in danger?

Isn’t that what Dylan (Steve Burton) left Genoa City specifically to avoid?

College Debt
Cane (Daniel Goddard) is so desperate to pay off Jesse the blackmailing camera guy that he’s considering dipping into Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) college funds.

They’ve currently got a few thousand more in them than the $25,000 Cane needs.

He’s all torn up about it. He shouldn’t be. With what costs are now, their current savings wouldn’t even cover a single semester. So he might as well blow it.

Lily is in for even more bad news once she finds out Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has landed the national commercial Lily auditioned for — and was counting on to help support the family while Cane was out of work.

Hilary can’t wait to share the news, but Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) appears less than thrilled.

Hilary’s just trolling him at this point, isn’t she? Does she simply want to get him to admit how he really feels about Lily?
