The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal Reed’s acting like a whole new kid, and it’s all thanks to his new friend Tessa!

Is Bratty Reed A Thing Of The Past?
Ever since Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) come back to town, he’s been a hellion of a teenager. He’s constantly undermining her mother, checked out some unsavory sites on the Internet, snuck out of the house, and refused to listen to anything his mom said. In fact, his bratty attitude and constant sulking had Victoria pulling her hair out!

Why The Sudden Change?
However, it seems those days are all in the past. Reed’s turning over a new leaf, and his down-to-earth attitude is turning Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) head. He even wants to boycott his birthday and opts for time with the family over a car. This is so unlike Reed that it’s almost like he’s not the same kid! Unfortunately, it seems this switch isn’t because Reed’s settling in, it’s all about a girl.

Is Tessa A Good Role Model?
While Vicky can appreciate Reed taking an interest in Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) more simple life, she can’t help but wonder how long this will last. Sure, Tessa’s kind nature is rubbing off on him but watching Reed change for a gal pal doesn’t sit right. She’s been down that road herself before, and it never ends well.

How Long Will This Last?
Thankfully, Victoria keeps her skepticism to herself and lets Reed have his moment. Why stir the pot if nothing is burning? Victoria chooses to enjoy this version of her son while it lasts…
