The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Tuesday, September 7 promise to overshadow any election day surprises with twists and turns of their own, as Phyllis gets up close and personal with Jordan, Dina bares her claws at Gloria, and Cane decides to get drunk — and stupid. Again.

Crossing the Jordan
Yesterday, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) told Billy (Jason Thompson) to make himself scarce — they were done with a capital D. Today, she’s cozying up to Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). Yeah, what’s up with that?

Could this have anything to do with Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) newfound desire to expose her ex’s past — and make him, really, really, very sorry for having kept Hilary hanging while Jordan was also sniffing around Lily?

Hilary tried to make Chelsea (Melissa Calire Egan) ‘fess up about what she knew, but Chelsea wasn’t playing. So that’s when you send in the big guns….

Floozy Call
It’s tempting to attribute Dina (Marla Adams) calling Gloria (Judith Chapman) a floozy, whose only value is her skills between the sheets, in front of Jack (Peter Bergman) to Dina’s recent stroke and thus a loss of inhibition.

But considering what Dina also called Nikki (Melody Thomas) before her last episode, that’s probably not the case. Dina is just being Dina. Which means everyone else, not just John’s former wives (where’s Jill?), better duck and cover.

Serenade in Booze
Hey, Cane (Daniel Goddard), you know what wives hate even more than you knocking up a woman you work with, lying about it, and then moving her into your house? It’s when you show up on their doorstep, drunk, and warbling about how you don’t want a divorce.

This is not how you’re going to get into Lily’s (Christel Khalil) good graces, dude. But it is an awesome way to get arrested. Go home and sleep it off!
