The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Wednesday, December 20 shake the foundation of Phyllis and Billy’s relationship, while Lily wonders about Hilary’s true motives, and Cane gets closer to getting his way.
Whose Side Are You On?
Billy (Jason Thompson) assumed he and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) were back on track after the little hiccough that was his basically betraying her trust and using her computer to spy on Jabot. But then Phyllis waltzed into the Jabot board meeting as Jack’s new appointee. And she voted for Jack — in spite of Billy’s dissent.
Billy is not very good at sharing. Or keeping his thoughts to himself. Or taking the high-road. He demands to know what this means for his and Phyllis’s relationship. Because everything Phyllis does is about Billy, natch.
And it’s not like she has a history of cheating on an Abbott brother.
The Main Cane
When Jill (Jess Walton) told Cane (Daniel Goddard) she was planning on selling Chancellor Enterprises, he made a pitch for her to hold onto it and retain Cane as CEO.
Jill was considering accepting Jack’s offer, but now that he’s been voted out as CEO of Jabot, that deal is at risk. Will Cane take advantage to pursue his own agenda? He’s feeling encouraged!
What Are You Up To?
Lily (Christel Khalil) has never trusted Hilary (Mishael Morgan). She didn’t trust grasping, gossip-mongering Hilary, and she doesn’t trust kindler, gentler Hilary. She especially doesn’t trust the Hilary that swears she’s turned over a new leaf, the one who gets her picture taken holding Cane’s newborn baby.
Lily wants to know what Hilary is up to — and how does Cane fit into her future plans? Not that Lily cares, of course. She’s, uhm, asking for a friend. Won’t somebody think of the children?
