The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Thursday, April 13 have Nikki unleashing decades of anger at Victor — as he self-righteously fires back, and their children wonder how long it will be before their mother reverts to old habits. Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) looks to fill a Genoa City power vacuum.
It’s Not Me, It’s You
Longtime Y&R viewers who’ve spent literally decades watching Victor (Eric Braeden) commit crimes and Nikki forgive him (and excoriate all those who didn’t do it fast enough), had their long-awaited catharsis on Wednesday.
Nikki finally acknowledged and owned her behavior. She also told Victor that it would be coming to an end — now.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) would no longer be enabling her husband — in private. In public, she would still play the loving wife, and her kids would also get with the program. Not for Victor’s sake, but for their own.
Trashing his name would mean trashing theirs, and none of these civic-minded citizens are ready to go that far. After all, there’s money at stake! This is serious!
Victor listens. But, being Victor, all he hears is, “You are not perfect, I won’t do whatever you say, I might be tempted to have a thought of my own.”
And Victor don’t play that. He warns of dire consequences if Nikki tries to turn his grandchildren against him, too.
Rerun City
And speaking of Victor’s children, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) may have bought their mom’s logic about why they have to keep quiet about Victor’s role in Adam’s death.
However, they also kick back with a few beers, they are also wondering how long it will be before Nikki folds and gets back on the We Love Victor bandwagon. They’ve seen it happen before. More than once.
