The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Thursday, September 14 promise serious consequences ahead as Nick and Noah prepare to do battle with Victor, and Cane vows to do whatever he needs to in order to keep Mattie from Reed.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Noah are determined to get their musical chain of Underground clubs up and running around the country.

Victor (Eric Braeden) is equally as determined to put obstacles in their path every step of the way, because… uhm… he’s a horrible, petty, vindictive man?

Or maybe because he can’t stand to see anyone but him get their way — even in issues he doesn’t care about?

Oh, wait, we know — because he loves his family more than anyone, and it’s up to him to teach them a valuable lesson they will thank him for someday. Yup, that’s the one.

Noah (Robert Adamson) is getting a taste of what it means to go up against his otherwise loving and doting grandpa.

He doesn’t like it. And he thinks it’s time he and Nick fought back.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) warns Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) that Cane is so angry, it’s likely he’ll forbid Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) from ever seeing Reed again.

At the same time, Lily (Christel Khalil) is refusing to get as hysterical over her daughter’s relationship as Cane is. And she has a point. What’s the big deal?

The kids have known each other for a couple of weeks, and have made out a little? The whole thing is so harmless, Cane seems a little deranged to be so upset about it.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) actually thinks Lily is acting deranged not getting equally upset about it. But is this really about Reed and his being a bad example for Mattie, or is it about Victoria firing Cane?
