The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Wednesday, September 6 are all about Sharon continuing to go where professionals with actual authority dare not tread, and Billy and Victoria discussing what did — and didn’t — just happen between them.

There’s no question about who kissed whom the other day. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) definitely kissed Billy (Jason Thompson). Of course, he also definitely kissed her back.

Now, however, Billy is the one who initiates their conversation about it. (24 hours later? What did they do for the rest of the previous day, just exchange marking jargon without ever once looking each other in the eye?)

Victoria figured he’d want to talk about it, and she comes to the table prepared.

Victoria told Nikki she thought the kiss was a major turning point for them. Will she tell Billy as much, or does she have an alternative strategy in mind?

Fresh off making Mariah (Camryn Grimes) feel rotten about her relationship with Devon (Bryton James) — and even more confused about her friendship with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), Hilary (Mishael Morgan) moves on.

Now she’s into messing with Phyllis’s (Gina Tognoni) head about Billy. And Phyllis isn’t exactly the sanest knife in the drawer to begin with.

Sharon (Sharon Case) figures she can do what Paul (Doug Davidson) and the entire Genoa City Police Department can’t — or won’t.

She’s going to catch Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) in the act of sex-trafficking Crystal, free her and all the rest of the girls, and everybody lives happily ever after. Scott (Daniel Hall) can even get an exclusive story out of it.

What could possibly go wrong? How about… everything.
