The Young and the Restless Spoilers (YR): Jack Crosses A Line With Ashley!

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Thursday, December 7 cross a Rubicon for multiple characters, as Jack says something he never, ever should to Ashley, Cane pushes his luck with Lily, and Abby pushes Scott to a place neither one wants to go.

You Talking To Me?
It’s OK for Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to disagree about Jabot business. It’s OK for them to disagree about Dina (Marla Adams), and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Victor (Eric Braeden) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) and Ravi (Abhi Sinha).

But it is never, ever, OK for them to disagree about John. Or, rather, John’s relationship to the both of them. But that’s exactly what happens when Ashley calls Jack on a business decision, claiming that their father —

“He’s my father, not yours,” Jack retorts. Oh, Jack. Jack, Jack, Jack. That was… uncool. And uncalled for.

Maybe Baby
Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) son survives heart surgery, thanks to blood donated by Lily (Christel Khalil) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson).

Cane gets to hold the tot for the first time. And he asks if Lily wants to, as well. Oh, Cane. Cane, Cane, Cane. That’s… insensitive.

Meanwhile, Back On the Merry Go Round
Instead of merely sniping, coming close to kissing, then sniping some more (with a quick break from the routine to have sex in a dirty storage space), Abby (Melissa Ordway) asks Scott (Daniel Hall) how he really feels about her.

Scott is a writer. He should have no trouble coming up with the right words. Whether they’re true or not, is another story. He just committed to living with Sharon (Sharon Case), after all.

Oh, Abby. Abby, Abby, Abby. That was… ill-advised. Besides, what are you going to do with the information if/when you get it?
