The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) focus on the changing of the guard at Jabot Cosmetics. Jack is out, and a new face will take his place as the permanent CEO.

Missing In Action!
Poor Jack (Peter Bergman) decides to take off to lick his wounds. He can’t bring himself to face his friends and family after his world was turned upside down. He’s in hiding with a bottle of booze to keep his company.

The Show Must Go On
Of course, Jack’s pain can’t take a toll on business. Jabot still needs to keep rolling along so Ashley (Eileen Davidson) calls a board meeting to set the wheels in action. They need a new CEO and she’s sure she knows just the man.

Unfortunately, the gene pool has the companies hands tied. They have to elect one of John’s children and that means there’s only two to choose from.

Billy’s Hands Are Tied
Traci’s already taken herself out of the running. She has no interest in being a big wig and would rather concentrate on being with Dina in her dying days. So, that leaves only one person – Billy.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Billy never wanted to be the head honcho but understands he must. It’s with great reluctance he takes over his brother’s job. The only good thing is he now also has the power to make the changes needed to get Jack back his job.

Abolishing the Blood Abbott Clause
Billy’s first call to action is getting rid of Jack’s silly amendment. It’s their only hope on putting their fearless leader back on his throne and getting back to the way things were.

Unfortunately, Billy’s about to find out it’s easier said than done. If he wants to do away with the blood Abbott clause he’ll have to rip through all the red tape and bring it to the board. It’s quite the process and could take months, if not years, to reverse.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
