Victoria tried to convince Jack (Peter Bergman) that hiring Cane would lead to problems in his relationship with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott).
Nikki wouldn’t want to jump into bed with someone trying to destroy her daughter’s business, would she?
She would.She’s done worse.But Jack declines to take the risk.

Now Jack is trying to convince Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that he is actually doing her a favor. By not hiring Cane, he’s driving yet another wedge between Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson).
How? Uhm… because they’ll be scrambling madly to keep Brash & Sassy afloat and then have less time for heart-to-heart chats?
In any case, that’s good for Phyllis. And Jack does so love facilitating his ex-wife and brother’s relationship.
Brotherly Love
Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) is stuck in an even stickier family situation as he watches Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) encounter Juliet (Laur Allen). Juliet is carrying Charlie’s future half-sibling (presumably).
This is not the family reunion Cane had in mind.

Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) knows that anything he tells Hilary (Mishael Morgan) eventually ends up on GC Buzz.
So when he spills more tea about Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane, he’s got to know what he’s doing.
The question is: Why? What does he hope to accomplish? Breaking up Lily and Cane? And if Hilary realizes that’s what he’s using her for, will she go along?
Considering it’s Hilary, we can bet she’ll do anything to bring up her ratings. That’s the true love of her life.
