The Young and the Restless Spoilers (YR): Hilary Gets a Scoop On the Newmans!

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Monday, July 17 pick up after Nikki’s concert, as Hilary gets the scoop of the century on the Newman’s family secrets (until the next one).

Grow Up!
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) may have been a teenager when Abby (Melissa Ordway) was born (though you’d be hard pressed to figure out anyone’s exact age now), but it’s tough to tell who is actually the big sister — or the adult — when the two get petty and start sniping at each other.

Their latest battle centers on who is acting like a six-year-old. Based on past battles, let’s assume it will be yet another draw.

Now There’s More Love To Go Around!
While Victoria deals with her extended family, Billy (Jason Thompson) is rearranging the pieces of theirs, as he introduces Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to Johnny and Katie. Now, Billy and Victoria are divorced, so he can date anyone he wants.

But Phyllis isn’t exactly prime step-mommy material.

When it comes to her own kids, she was absent for most of Daniel’s life (and lied about his paternity), and spent part of Summer’s upbringing in a coma (after being unsure about her paternity — more than once).

Tread carefully, Johnny and Katie. And Billy.

All the Newmans have been working so hard to keep their family secrets from leaking into the public eye.

All the Newmans have been working so hard to keep their family secrets from leaking into the public eye. So maybe Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) should have kept from discussing them — loudly — while there were cameras around.

Cameras Victor invited himself, for his own selfish reasons (does Victor have any other kind?)

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) catches them discussing the role Victor played in making Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) concert happen. And the role Nick played in almost sabotaging it.
