The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Thursday, October 5 promise a reality check for a good chunk of Genoa City, as Billy faces the possibility his plan might fail, Graham is reminded of what’s at stake, and Ashley is forced to confront her biggest secret.

The Smartest Guys In the Room
On Wednesday, Billy (Jason Thompson) was convinced he couldn’t lose. He felt certain that neither Jack (Peter Bergman) nor Ashley (Eileen Davidson) suspected him of logging onto the Jabot server via Phyllis’s (Gina Tognoni) computer.

That meant the document he found claiming Jabot was going to scale back on advertising their men’s line was 100% accurate, and in no way a trap set deliberately to trip him up.

Billy convinced Victoria (Amelia Heinle) of it and got her to agree to ramp up their men’s line budget to corner the market.

She reluctantly went along with his plan.

But now, Billy is having second thoughts. What changed, besides a hard dose of reality?

Graham (Max Shippee) is getting angsty about his plan to ruin Dina (Marla Adams), now that Ashley has both sussed out Myrna in the nursing home and the fact that Graham grew up in Genoa City but is keeping it a secret.

Except his words also remind Ashley of the fact that John Abbott wasn’t her biological father, and how she will never, ever forgive her mother for both cheating on him, and lying to her. And that’s before she learns about her other brother lurking in the wings.
