The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Wednesday, November 1 brings dread and horror as Jack’s protestations of innocence fall on deaf ears, and Charlie and Mattie have to deal with their ancient, decrepit, uncool dad crashing their Halloween party — and that’s all before a fire breaks out at The Underground.

The Sounds of Silence
Jack (Peter Bergman) told Billy (Jason Thompson) that he didn’t sabotage Brash & Sassy’s face mask. Gloria (Judith Chapman) told Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that Jack didn’t sabotage Brash & Sassy’s face mask.

But Ashley still needs to hear it from her brother, as she challenges Jack to look her in the eye and answer the question once and for all. (Who suspects it will not be once and for all?)

Billy, on the other hand, doesn’t need a confession. Or proof. All he needs is his own self-righteousness. Billy goes to Victor (Eric Braeden) and confidently announces that Jack sabotaged the face mask.

Victor takes Billy at his word, because the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

And Victor currently hates Jack more than Billy. That could change, though…

Dad Jokes
Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) thought she was so clever, conning Cane (Daniel Goddard) into letting them have a Halloween party at the house. Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) even complimented his twin on her negotiating skills.

But that was before Cane decided to share some hip and cool party ideas. Kids are still saying ‘hip’ and ‘cool,’ right?

Where There’s Smoke….
… There’s a fire at the Underground! Interesting how it happens just as Nick (Joshua Morrow) is trying to get a franchise off the ground, and Victor warned him that without the cushion of Nick’s trust-fund, business is going to get much more difficult.

Old Vic wouldn’t be trying to teach his wayward son a lesson, would he? Nah, since when has Victor been petty?
