Familiar Faces In Surprising Places
Chelsea had quite a checkered past prior to coming to Genoa City (and for a long while, afterwards, too). We’ve met her con-artist mom, and now it’s time to meet another known acquaintance… Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood)? Huh?

Viewers can be forgiven their surprise. Y&R likes to segregate their players into separate stories, and rarely do the twain meet. When Jordan first showed up, it was expected he’d be an old friend of Lily’s (Christel Khalil) for obvious reasons, but the Chelsea connection came out of left field.

No one suspected they might have once known each other. And Chelsea and Jordan would really prefer to keep it that way.

Hmmm… wonder how the newly rich Hilary would respond to learning her new squeeze used to be pals with a woman who enjoys separating gullible marks from their money?

Gotta Jet!
Hilary may be rich now, but Devon (Bryton James) is still richer. She’s got sports-car money. He’s got private jet money. And he’s invited Mariah (Camryn Grimes) for a ride on it. She’s on her way…. Just as soon as she rubs Hilary’s face in the information.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tried to convince Scott not to write Victor’s (Eric Braeden) autobiography with him. Scott explained that was up to Victor.

Victor thundered that The Book Must Go On! But now, he wants Scott to know that if Victor were to change his mind, then The Book Would Be Cancelled! He’s the one in charge, you got that?

Well, here, at least. He can’t do anything about the fact that his kids aren’t speaking to him… And his wife isn’t sleeping with him. Might as well endorse a book touting how great he is. No one else will.
