The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Tuesday, May 23 find the Brash & Sassy gang back in Genoa City and dealing with the consequences of what they think was Billy’s screwup — but was really Cane’s set up.
The Blame Game
Juliet (Laur Allen) is a professional. Just like she didn’t let sleeping with Cane (Daniel Goddard) derail her career ambitions, she is now accepting the blame for the embarrassing footage of Billy airing.
She should have done more due diligence and asked for a confirmation email from the legal department before letting the video clip air.
Cane, who knows that Juliet did nothing wrong, urges her not to blame herself — blame Billy (Jason Thompson), instead! But is Cane just being a nice guy, or is he worried that Juliet will start digging deeper? And that she’ll figure out Cane was the one who set her up?
And that she’ll retaliate — with the only weapon Cane thinks Juliet has. (Guess it never crossed his mind that she’ll just do the correct thing and go to Vicky; how could any woman resist boasting that she bedded Cane, after all?)

Billy is off to Canada to try and explain himself. Vicky has cancelled the family vacation she planned for them and the kids. And Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is back at Jabot, getting needled by Jack (Peter Bergman).
Is she starting to wonder whether a relationship with Billy is worth all the subsequent drama — and humiliation?
