The Young and the Restless Spoilers
The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Friday, May 12 find Abbotts, Newmans, and more California bound… but for different reasons. Plus, Hilary realizes she may have blown it with Jordan, and backpedals like crazy.
Hooray for Hollywood
Once upon a time, soaps used to travel to exotic locations like Spain, Ireland, Hawaii, and Argentina for their locations shoots. Now, YR is going to Hollywood… i.e. stepping outside their studio doors.
(To be fair, The Bold and the Beautiful did just go to Australia.) But while proximity and frugality may be the reason the CBS soap is making the trip, that’s not why the characters are doing it.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) planned the whole thing because she intends for it to be a family vacation.
She figures once Billy spends a day kicking back on the beach with her and the photogenic kiddos, he’s going to remember how great it was when the four of them were together, and kick that bimbo Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to the curb.
Victoria tells Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that it’s all Victor’s (Eric Braeden) fault she lost Billy, but she is not about to lay down and die. She’s going to fight! And she’s starting her battle on the West Coast.
Billy (Jason Thompson), meanwhile, is going to California because he thinks it will be good for Brash & Sassy business… and annoy Cane (Daniel Goddard).

Jordan overheard Hilary (Mishael Morgan) telling Devon (Bryton James) that Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) was nothing more than a slam-piece for her. She desperately tries to make things right.
Maybe she’ll tell Jordan he’s more than just a slam-piece… he’s also her rebound guy! There. Isn’t that better?
