A Father’s Pain
As Victor (Eric Braeden) stands at the podium and says goodbye to his youngest son, his guilt overwhelms him. He can’t even begin to tell the family, especially Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), how sorry he is. It’s his fault Adam (Justin Hartley) is dead, and there’s no way to bring him back.
Victor clearly wants to bare his soul to the world. His sins are too many and holding in the lies is eating him alive. It looks like he’s finally ready to take his punishment like a man and do the right thing for one of the first times in his life. There are many skeletons in his closet but what he did to Adam is the biggest one of all.
An Unlikely Friend
Just when it looks like Victor’s dangerously close to making the confession everyone’s waiting for, a well-meaning frienemy interrupts. Jack (Peter Bergman) extends Victor a shoulder to lean on and tells him there was nothing he could do to stop what happened at the cabin.
