It’s been a rough few months for Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). He felt her drifting away but has no idea it was because of her affair with Billy (Jason Thompson). Thinking his wife deserves a little romance in her life, he makes plans to woo Phyllis. Unfortunately, Jack’s plans don’t pan out because his wife isn’t feeling it. She may be sitting in front of him, but the rest of her seems to be a million miles away.
It seems that no matter how much Jill (Jess Walton) tries to warn her off, Phyllis can’t let go of Billy. Now that she knows Victoria (Amelia Heinle) went running off to find Travis, Phyllis can’t stop thinking about him. But, what about Jack?

Billy is thinking about his future. He’s tired of being his mother’s puppet in the silly game she’s playing with him and Victoria. He decides to quit Brash & Sassy and strike out on his own. This way he can prove his worth to her and himself.

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is worried about her place at the company. After all, the lab is closing and her relationship with Jack isn’t as strong as it used to be. She’s also tired of being at the mercy of others. She takes it out on Neil (Kristoff St. John), whom she accuses of being nice one minute and stabbing her in the back the next.
