The latest “The Young and the Restless spoilers” reveal a long forgotten character may be at the heart of Adam’s fall from grace.

Seven years ago, forger extraordinaire Frank Ellis (Kanin Howell) used his gift of penmanship to help take down The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Now, it looks like he may be back, but his return to Genoa City is overlooked by everyone on Adam’s (Justin Hartley) side.

Victor hired the forger to take down his son, which is ironic because Frank is the same man who wrote the journal that nearly framed him for murder. The catch is, Adam believes that Frank died and was buried a long time ago.

The question is, how did The Mustache make contact with the penman when no one else could? He was able to gave Chloe the number, so someone else had to be working on the outside to track Frank down.

Could it be that Victor helped Frank fake his death? It wouldn’t be unlike Victor to put him on his payroll to keep his existence on the down low.

This is another nearly perfect Victor-style crime. The ghost writer’s identity and location are known only to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and his minion, and either would  ever turn against him.

Victor’s reach and influence are unparalleled to any other power player, even with concrete and metal bars in front of him. It’s too bad Adam never learned to appreciate the power his father has and learn to use it in his favor.
