Explosive The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a heartbreaking day in Genoa City. As flames surround the cabin, Nick and Chelsea are sure Adam’s gone for good.

A Tragic Murder?
Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) knew a getaway was almost too good to be true. It was the miracle they were hoping for, but life never quite works out the way they want. Their dream of hopping on a plane out of the country evaporated first when Connor fell ill, and again when Chloe burst through the cabin door.

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) always swore she’d get revenge and get rid of Adam for good. Finding him alone, instead of with his wife and child, was a stroke of luck. She finally had Adam right where she wanted him, and his murder could be swift and easy. But, is that what actually happened?

She subdued Adam with a tranquilizer dart, and surely she was the one who caused the explosion but did she leave Adam in the cabin when she set it ablaze? So far there’s no word if a body is amongst the burning rubble.

Did Chloe Save Adam?
Could it be possible that Chloe faked Adam’s death and sent him away, but made sure Chelsea stuck around? Her timing was almost too perfect, waiting for her bestie to leave the cottage so she could go in and get her way. Chelsea’s friendship means everything to the still-grieving mama, and she doesn’t want to live without her again. With Adam out of the way, Chloe finally has everything she’s wants.
