Billy (Jason Thompson) went throughhell when Phyllis (Gina Tononi) returned to Jack and said she no longer wanted him. Now that Jack has literally thrown her away, Billy hopes he finally has a solid chance with her. He wants forgiveness, but more than anything he wants her to love him. Billy tells Phyllis that he wants her to look into her heart, and she will find the truth – that she loves him and they can be together. Of course, just because Jack is through with Phyllis doesn’t mean that Phyllis is through with Jack – or is she?
Tabloid Fodder
News of what happened to Phyllis has the press descending on Genoa City in record numbers. Rumors that Jack (Peter Bergman) got violent with his cheating wife is apparently big news as he gets ambushed by a reporter who asks Jack if he’s heard the rumor. Jack takes the bait and asks what rumor? You know…the one about him having beaten up his wife. Jack is beginning to realize how much trouble he may be in, even though he didn’t do what they accuse him of doing. The court of public opinion can be very damning.

Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) puts a plan into motion to help her friend. Unfortunately, it blows up in her face and now Jack may have an even bigger problem.
Meddlesome Mom
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) sees Jill at the office and the two clash when Victoria tells Jill (Jess Walton) she needs to get it through her thick skull that she and Billy will never get back together. Things start to look up for Victoria (or do they?) when Travis (Michael Roark) tells Victor (Eric Braeden) that he loves Victoria. Later, Victor and Jill don’t see eye-to-eye on Victoria and Billy’s future.
