Breaking The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Dylan’s investigation of Adam’s innocence is going to take a drastic turn!
Suspended for Insubordination
Paul’s (Doug Davidson) furious over Dylan’s (Steve Burton) off the record detective work and relieves his son of his duties. He suspends his son and strips him of his badge and gun. Dylan will no longer work alongside his father, at least for the next few days.
He can’t seem to convince the police chief to keep things moving forward. Their job is to serve and protect, and giving up on Adam (Justin Hartley) feels like giving up on his vows to the public. But, all the convincing in the world won’t change Paul’s mind, and he orders Dylan out the door.
The Walk that Changes EVERYTHING
Distraught and disappointed, Dylan goes for a walk to clear his head. He knows Adam is innocent and strongly suspects Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is up to no good. She puts on a good poker face, and talks a good game, but the pieces all fit. He just has to prove them. Now, off the force, he has no way to chase the lead.
In a twisted turn of events, his suspension may be the best thing that could happen. While sitting on a bench in Chancellor Park, Dylan sees a sight that could be an undeniable break in the case. Victor (Eric Braeden) and Chloe are alone, and they’re clearly in an argument.
Will Dylan get close enough to hear what the two are saying? If so, will Paul finally reopen the case of an innocent man? This could be just what they need to bring Adam back to his family!
