When The Young and the Restless (YR) viewers first saw this latest iteration of Scott, he was being held hostage somewhere in the Middle East for some reason.
Victor (Eric Braeden) swooped in to rescue him, but we all know Victor never does anything out of the goodness of his heart.
Home Base
In trying to encourage Scott (Daniel Hall) to stick around Genoa City instead of running off to end up with another bag over his head, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) introduced her first-born son to her good pal, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni).
The two were happy to make out for a while, but the only long-term affect of that seem to be Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) on-going trauma.
Sharon Is Caring
Next, Scott ended up hanging with Sharon (Sharon Case), talking writing and stuff. She admitted to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that she found him hot, and the pair recently shared a kiss.
But is Scott interested in Sharon’s mind, her heart… or something else altogether? He may no longer be writing Victor’s autobiography, but a good reporter is always on the hunt for a story. And Sharon has a lot to tell… and to hide.
Something ScAbby
And then there’s Abby (Melissa Ordway). She thought Scott considered her a ditz… and that was before Victor appointed him to work with her.
Now she’s convinced the two are plotting against her. Which they kind of are. Victor suspects Abby betrayed him. Which she kind of did.
So now we’ve got two people who dislike and distrust each other forced to work together. They’re already snarking up a storm. You can cut the sexual tension with a knife.
Who will break first? And what will the other do once they hold the upper hand? Will Scott protect Abby from Victor, or throw her to the wolves? Will Abby figure out what Scott is hiding? And will she use it to her advantage?
Is Abby/Scott/Sharon a classic YR love triangle in the making, or does Scott have a completely different agenda for both women?
