The Young and the Restless Recap: Will Nikki Make It To Christmas?

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, December 21 features Nikki’s life hanging in the balance as Reed spilled all to her inert form.

Plus, Jack had an invitation for Kerry as Sharon, Kyle, and Abby spent Christmas with the suddenly-all-important Rosales family.

Grandma Got Run Over By Her Grandson (Everybody Sing!)
Nate (Brooks Darnell) told Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) things aren’t looking good for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and urged them to find Victor (Eric Braeden) and bring him home.

Victoria was too upset to go to Johnny’s Christmas pageant and headed to the hospital with Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), instead.

There, Reed told his comatose grandmother that this is all his fault, while Nick continued to rant and rave about finding the person who did this. (As if this will help Nikki one iota. Did sending Lily to jail bring Hilary back, Devon?)

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) caught Sharon comforting Nick but pretended to be chill with it.

Having a Picnic On the Beach on Christmas Day (Like the Wiggles!)
Jack (Peter Bergman) invited Kerry (Alice Hunter) to Bora Bora. She said things are moving too fast, then said yes and they had sex. Guess this is Kerry’s version of taking it slow?

Deck the Halls (Though No One’s Jolly)
Lola (Sasha Calle) brought Kyle (Michael Mealor), and Arturo (Jason Canela) brought Abby (Melissa Ordway) to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Mia’s (Noemi Gonzalez) for Christmas.

Mia invited Sharon (Sharon Case), too. So they can be friends. Much teasing of Kyle and Mia rubbing Sharon’s face in her marriage to Rey, ensued. Sharon retaliated by filling Mia in about Nikki.

In private, Rey told Sharon she’s still special to him. Then, he went upstairs to have sex with Mia. Abby and Arturo had sex, too. Must be all that spicy food…
