The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 12 features Sharon, Victoria, and Nikki wondering what Nick’s arrest might mean to them.
Plus, Billy continued to gamble, Mariah teased Kyle about Summer while her show might have helped Jack find his father.
JT on the QT
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) questioned Nick (Joshua Morrow) about JT (Thad Luckinbill), but he wouldn’t budge.
Victor (Eric Braeden) growled at the Genoa City Police Department, while Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Sharon (Sharon Case), and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) first squabbled about who tipped Rey off, then worried that the investigation will lead back to them.
Rey assured Nick he’ll give him immunity for the truth about JT. Brittany (Lauren Woodlawn) urged Nick to take the deal. He signed, then admitted, “I was JT.”
I Can Change, I Can Change
As Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) worried about Summer (Hunter King), Billy (Jason Thompson) enthused about how great it is that Phyllis enables his gambling addiction. He loves her so much, let’s have sex now!

Later, Vicky worried that Phyllis won’t be able to keep a lid on Billy’s problem. Phyllis assured Vicky she’s got this. Then made a frownie face.
More Mariah
Kyle (Michael Mealor) admitted he faked being passed out to avoid sleeping with Summer. Mariah wondered if it’s because he’d prefer a real relationship.
When a guest canceled on GC Buzz (that used to happen all the time to Hilary; they should get a better booker), Abby (Melissa Ordway) suggested Mariah (Camryn Grimes) do a show on finding long-lost relatives and showed a picture of Jack’s (Peter Bergman) prospective dad to see if anyone recognized him.
Victor recognized him. And he was not at all pleased to hear what that might mean.
