The Young and the Restless recap for April 1, 2019 features Ashley revealing her plans — and making her family an offer they debate refusing.
Plus, another man assured Nikki she’s wonderful even as Victoria disappeared, and Sharon and Rey made it official.
Vote By Rote
Kerry (Alice Hunter) revealed she’s an impostor – the real Kerry was working for Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in Paris. (And it would seem that none of the people who so wanted to hire her did even a basic Google search regarding what she looked like.)
Ashley offered Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Jack (Peter Bergman), and Billy (Jason Thompson) a deal. Sell Jabot to Ashley, and they’ll get all their products back — except she’d own the company. Abby (Melissa Ordwau) fretted. Traci (Beth Maitland) dithered. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) wondered what this would mean for Fenmore’s.
Jack and Billy’s first move was to vote Phyllis out as CEO, and vote Jack in, as they tried to decide what to do about Ashley’s offer. Abby was furious with her mother.
Act Two
Paul (Doug Davidson) stopped by to assure Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) he would always be on her side. Nikki fretted about Victoria (Amelia Heinle), who told the kids she’s off on a business trip – oh, and Katie’s friend from the walls is gone for good. (How did Katie not recognize JT from when he lived in with them?).
Nikki wasn’t pleased, but when Victoria asked her to watch the kids, she filled in Billy and stopped asking questions.
Victoria checked into a hotel under a fake name and announced she didn’t want to be disturbed.
Hitting the Sheets
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) discussed the end of his marriage to Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and how he should take some time to process it. But then, they had sex, instead.
