The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, February 13 features a heart-stopping pre-Valentine’s Day episode, as Rey told Sharon how he feels, Lola rushed to surprise Kyle, and Charlie and Mattie upset Cane.
Love, Lies, and Cell Phone Bills
Hearing his wife call out his brother’s name while they’re having sex drove Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to Sharon’s (Sharon Case), where he rambled about Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) not being the right woman for him, and then he confessed his love for Sharon.
“I love you, too,” Sharon replied.
Uhm… when did this happen? We know they were attracted to each other, we know they had a nice rapport. But love is a whole other level of emotion. Nonetheless, in love they are! OK. Sharon wants to take it slow.
However, now that they’ve declared devotion, Rey figured they’re close enough to take a look at Sharon’s cell phone bill, where he saw that she made a 911 call the night of JT’s disappearance. Wasn’t that months ago? How behind on her payments is Sharon?
Meanwhile, Mia told Arutro (Jason Canela) what she did and why Rey stormed out. And Sharon claimed taxes. The phone bill was for taxes.
Surprise Party
Lola (Sasha Calle) poured her heart out to Jack (Peter Bergman) about wanting to work things out with Kyle (Michael Mealor), and Jack gave her the address to the cabin. Lola raced up there… and got there right in time to look through the window and see Kyle kissing Summer (Hunter King).
Hey, Lola, let’s not forget, YOU broke things off with HIM.
Fairy Tales
Acting more like they’re seven rather than 17 (which is closer to their actual age), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Garry) wrote a fairy tale about Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) love in honor of their anniversary. Cane cried, but blamed Lily for them not being together on this romantic day.
