The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, June 19 recap features a very unself-aware Victor taking Nick’s side in the custody battle of Christian, Michael threatening Adam, Paul supporting Nikki, and Traci getting a surprise invitation.
Son Rise
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) encouraged Victor (Eric Braeden) to let Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Victor is on his side in the custody battle for Christian. Victor agreed that Nick is the only father Christian has ever known — what kind of monster would take a little boy away from his Daddy?
Victor stopped by Adam’s (Mark Grossman), who reminded Victor that HE sued Nick for custody of Christian. Victor hand-waved that he is completely different from Adam. Victor never blamed other people for his problems or turns vindictive. Adam, to his credit, did not collapse on the floor, laughing. Victor told Adam to get off his property.
Dead Girl Walking
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) blustered that if Adam makes Kevin (Greg Rikaart) work for him, Michael will expose him. Adam asked if Michael plans to accuse Adam of kidnapping a dead woman. Michael warned that he can sink as low as Adam.
Paul (Doug Davidson) blurted out that he wished Victor were dead (metaphorically speaking), but when Nikki burst into tears and told Paul about Victor’s flagging health, he was there to support her. Paul explained he’s just frustrated over Victor suing his wife. Nikki wasn’t nearly as supportive in return.
Tall Tales
Lily (Christel Khalil) told Cane (Daniel Goddard) she won’t be returning to Genoa City for the dedication of Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) memorial.
Cane asked Traci (Beth Maitland) — who continued writing her Maltese Falcon/YR cross-over fanfiction — to go with him, instead.
Nate (Sean Dominic) invited Abby (Melissa Ordway) to the same thing, and she agreed, after whining about how she’s always left out of everything.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
