The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, December 13 features Nikki getting Mia to do her bidding, even as Victoria disagreed.
Plus, Abby tricked both Devon and Lola while Fen got in a trick of his own, Cane decided to make his kids happy, and Mariah couldn’t forgive her mom.
You Scratch My Back….
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) paid Mia (Noemi Gonzalesz) a visit for a makeover and made it clear that she would be happy to introduce her into Genoa City high-society… but how sad would it be if Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) investigation of Victor (Eric Braeden) were to put a crimp in her upward mobility.
Later, Nikki took a drink when Mia wasn’t looking and almost took a drink when Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) arrival stopped her. Victoria was not on board with their fate resting on Rey’s social climbing wife.
Holiday Spirit
Earlier, Victoria met with Cane (Daniel Goddard) to discuss Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu).
Victoria thinks the kids are good for each other, now that both are missing a parent. She told Cane she tries to do one thing to make her kids happy every day.
Taking her advice, Cane brought home a Christmas tree, after telling Mattie and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) he didn’t feel like celebrating this year.
Celebrity Swap
Abby (Melissa Ordway) told Devon (Bryton James) to try the food of the celebrity chef she wants to hire for her club – without mentioning it was really Lola (Sasha Calle), who Devon had already turned down.
During the meal, in between serving courses, Fen (Zach Tinker) slipped Devon his demo, which infuriated both Abby and Lola.
Devon wasn’t thrilled to hear Abby had lied to him about Lola, but he loved her food so much, he agreed to partner with Abby and hire Lola as their chef.
Bad Mommy
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) told Mariah (Camryn Grimes) she didn’t blame Sharon (Sharon Case) for taking part in her kidnapping. Mariah still blamed Sharon.
