The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, September 11 features the big launch for Dark Horse.
Mariah interviewed Nick about his triumph, only to have first Victor, then Rey steal his spotlight. Plus, Kyle’s night with Summer wasn’t what either of them expected.
What’s the Use?
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) wondered if Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is using her, and Tessa wondered what she can do to convince Mariah she’s sincere.
Sharon (Sharon Case) wasn’t sure about coming to the Dark Horse launch, but Nick (Joshua Morrow) convinced her with a kiss that he’s sincere about not turning into Victor (Eric Braeden). (Does he remember that Victor used to kiss Sharon, too?)
Nick offered Arturo (Jason Canela) a job as head of construction at Dark Horse, but he was unsure about taking it while Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) was around. Abby (Melissa Ordway) convinced him, then sincerely kissed him.
Mariah was interviewing Nick live during the party when Victor arrived to announce his son’s company is built on theft, and that Nick only knows what Victor taught him.
Nick was able to blow that off, but he had a slightly harder time with Rey, who appeared alongside the Genoa City Police and placed Nick under arrest – still live.
Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) snuck out of the party before the real fireworks went down so Kyle could collect on his bet.
He wanted to get romantic, but Summer just wants to get this over with. She offered to fake an emotional attachment but, after she came out of the bathroom where she was getting changed, Kyle pretended to be asleep.
Doesn’t mean the bet is nullified, does it? Just postponed?
Get the Picture?
Jack (Peter Bergman) showed Dina (Marla Adams) the infamous photo and asked – again – about his father. She was useless, as usual. Then, Abby offered to post it on social media. (Does Jack not know how to use a scanner and hit upload?)
