The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, September 21 has Victor features Jack knowing what he wants, Traci suggesting Ashley try a different tactic with Billy, and Sharon starting her new job by Rey’s side.
Who’s the Bigger Man?
Matt turned down Jack’s (Peter Bergman) request to have his DNA tested. Nick (Joshua Morrow) offered his help, but Jack turned Nick down because… reasons.
Matt (whom Victor addresses by his full name, for some reason; well, I’ll be damned!) later talked to Victor (Eric Braeden) and dared him to prove that Albert Miller no longer has any influence over his life.
Victor summoned Jack over and had Nate (Brooks Darnell) draw some blood from both of them. They’ll get to the bottom of this once and for all!
Intervention!
Traci (Beth Maitland) lied to Billy (Jason Thompson) that she’s in town to visit Dina (Marla Adams) but, in reality, she’s there because Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) want her to take over as CEO of Jabot – just long enough to get rid of the blood Abbott clause.
They filled Traci in on Billy’s gambling, and how he’s stealing from the company. Traci insisted they hold an intervention for their brother, first.
I’m On Your Side
Sharon (Sharon Case) changed her mind about taking the victim advocate job with Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), but brought Nick (Joshua Morrow) into it again.
At the station, Sharon assumed a condescending and patronizing tone of voice to talk with a victim named Ivy but, at the end, was able to get her to agree to testify against Rey’s perp.
Rey was pleased and told a mystery person over the phone that he is building trust.
Back home, Sharon mused to Nick about how Ivy’s life was destroyed by lies. They both looked pensive…
