The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, August 29 features multiple Newmans apologizing to each other – and covering for each other.
Plus, Phyllis made a slip that might come back to haunt her in front of Sharon, and Devon got a plethora of advice he doesn’t want.
Apology Tour
Victor (Eric Braeden) snapped at Victoria (Amelia Heinle), who snapped back. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) covered for her daughter, and Victor apologized.
He then planned a family dinner and invited Abby (Melissa Ordway), who also apologized — and told Victor to keep away from Arturo (Jason Canela).
Earlier, Abby lectured Devon (Bryton James) on forgiving Lily (Christel Khalil) or he’d have to deal with the fallout. Nate (Brooks Darnell) did the same and asked Devon how he’d feel about hurting the twins and Neil (Kristoff St. John).
Nate also added that Devon should exercise. Batting clean up for advice Devon didn’t ask for, Victor told him it’s his call, and it’s a tough one. Thanks, Vic!
Slip Up
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) mentioned that she knew Nick (Joshua Morrow) impersonated JT (Thad Luckinbill). Sharon (Sharon Case) was surprised and wondered when Nick told her.
Phyllis was vague and then said they were talking about Summer (Hunter King) and it came up. Sharon said Phyllis’s daughter is spoiled and Phyllis agreed but warns Sharon to wait until Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is a teen. Why? It’s not like she isn’t already spoiled now.
Person Of Interest
Victoria, Nikki, Sharon, and Phyllis realized that Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) had been awfully curious about JT.
Abby admitted he also approached her and she told him that JT wasn’t the one who hacked Newman, though she didn’t out Nick as the culprit. Victoria was determined to find out why Rey is so curious about her ex-husband.
