The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, June 4 features a dark convergence of forces as Adam offered Phyllis the chance to help him burn down Genoa City, Victor lectured Nick and kept secrets from Abby, and Summer took a walk on the wild side.
Crash Dummy
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Adam (Mark Grossman) had a fender-bender…which led to him offering her the chance to get back at everyone in Genoa City whoever hurt her… all she had to do is hack into Dark Horse for him.
Later, Adam calls Chelsea (Melissa Claire Eagan), asking to see Connor…and her, while Phyllis pondered the Dark Horse site.
Daddy Secrets
Victor (Eric Braeden) wanted Nick (Joshua Morrow) to be nicer to Adam, but Nick wasn’t sharing his son. Nick wanted to know why his dad favors Adam over all of his other children — is there something the rest of them should know? (Like how Victor was responsible for getting Chloe out of the looney bin and she ended up killing Adam? That’ll make a dad feel guilty….)
Abby (Melissa Ordway) saw a text Victor sent Nate (Sean Dominic) talking about starting treatment. Abby wanted to know what’s going on, but Nate was bound by secrecy and suggested she ask Victor herself. She did. He said it’s just physical therapy. Abby vowed to learn more.
This was what happens when you don’t have a storyline to call your own. Look at Esther (Kate Linder)…
Blowing Off Steam
Summer (Hunter King) went on a party streak with her influencer friends, while Kyle (Michael Mealor) watched…and worried.
Lola (Sasha Calle) didn’t mind, but she told Kyle that Summer is a big girl who needed to learn to take care of herself. Summer went home with Theo and they end up in bed.
