The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, March 5 features Michael and Brittany’s separate plans to free their clients, Kyle’s has a plan to save Lola, and Phyllis’ plans to make Nick see things her way.
Hail Mary Pass
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) struggled to convince Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to take a plea deal. Nikki begged her daughter to let Nikki protect her now, the way she did when she killed JT (Thad Luckinbill). Victoria finally agreed.
Unfortunately, Christine (Lauralee Bell) wouldn’t entertain it. Michael was left with only one more move – he called Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) to the stand.
At the same time, Brittany (Lauren Woodland) talked Sharon (Sharon Case) through the night Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) got her to confess. Sharon admitted Rey first told her he loved her. Bingo! Brittany saw an out for her client! She felt so confident, she didn’t even want to join forces with Michael.
Indecent Proposal
When Kyle (Michael Mealor) learned that Summer (Hunter King) was a matching donor for Lola (Sasha Calle), he was willing to do anything he needs to in order to make it happen.
Summer reminded him of how horribly he’s been treating her lately. And this was major surgery, here, not a simple trip to the blood bank!
Kyle was happy to take all the blame and told Summer he’d do anything. He’d break up with Lola. He’d marry Summer! Just do this!
Same Old, Same Old
Earlier, Summer urged Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to go see Nick (Joshua Morrow) one more time and see if they can patch things up. Phyllis did, but Nick just ripped into her for being… exactly the person she always was. Really, shouldn’t Nick have made his peace with it by now?
He told her they are over forever. Again.
