The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, April 30 features Kyle thinking he put an end to his marriage to Summer — but she had other ideas.
Plus, Phyllis offered Mia a job, while Sharon offered her a warning. Also, Billy pair off a final debt and Nikki learned something about Victor’s Las Vegas secret.
Leaving Las Vegas
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) hired Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to investigate Victor’s (Eric Braeden) Las Vegas mystery.
Sharon (Sharon Case) decided to go with him. Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) told Sharon she’s happy the three of them are all being so pleasant, but Sharon shot back that Mia was only being pleasant because she didn’t want Rey to turn her in for almost killing Lola. Mia can’t believe Rey confided in Sharon. Sharon tells Rey’s wife to watch herself.
On the other hand, maybe Nikki won’t need Rey, after all. While doing her own snooping, she finds intel on the FBI investigation a woman running scams in Las Vegas. Now, who does that sound like? (Hint: She likes Newman men.)
You Owe Me
Kyle (Michael Mealor) told Summer (Hunter King) he wanted a divorce and told Lola (Sasha Calle) it’s all set. He’d soon be a free man. Kyle then set up a romantic evening on the roof for his girlfriend.
Summer, on the other hand, told Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) she wanted to fight. Phyllis said that didn’t work for her with Billy (Jason Thompson), and if Summer was going to fight for anything, she should fight to keep her job at Jabot, though Jack (Peter Bergman) was worried about Summer working alongside Kyle.
Phyllis had no problem, though, with taking money from Billy for her new venture. She hired Mia to work for her and told Lauren (Tracey Bregman) it’s all good karma.
