The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, January 28 features a pair of strangers at the Newman Ranch, Victoria getting a job offer, Jack finally learning Kerry’s secret, Nick accusing Sharon, and Mia targeting Abby.
Fault Lines
Nick (Joshua Morrow) lamented to Sharon (Sharon Case) that he expected Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria, and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to lie to him, but Sharon really hurt.
Sharon pointed out that he lied to her about sleeping with Phyllis. Yeah, Nick countered, but that was kind of her fault. If she hadn’t been lying to him and he thought they’d broken up… Sharon suggested he get going. (Thank-you, Sharon.)
Back home, Nick told Phyllis how grateful he is for her helping his mom and sister bury a body. They never would have managed without her. So everything was great between them again.
Oh, wait, who was that at the door? It was Summer! She decided she’s moving in with Mommy and Daddy!
New at Newman
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Victor (Eric Braeden) thought Katie’s imaginary friend was adorable, and ignored the child while Victor offers Victoria the chance to run Newman while he’s on house arrest.
Victoria barely had time to get new business cards printed before Victor had another brilliant idea – a newly returned Summer (Hunter King) can work with her.
“Oh, yay,” Victoria forced on a grin.
Baby Love
Kerry (Alice Hunter) told Jack (Peter Bergman) why she had a syringe in her purse. She planning on harvesting and freezing her eggs.
Kerry insisted this doesn’t need to change anything between them, but Jack wonders, if she wants kids, then maybe he isn’t the man for her.
Hair Care
Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) took turns trying to kill each other with kindness. Mia offered to give Abby a make-over and considered chopping off her hair. We are now officially in middle school.
