The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, August 31 features a physically ill Victoria after a confrontation with Rey, Tessa making a confession to Mariah, and Devon continuing to growl at Lily, even as Charlie and Shauna reconcile.
Oy, Rey!
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) asked Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) how much it will cost to make JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) credit card debts go away (and Rey get out of town).
Rey said it’s not that simple. It’s not just about the money, he needs answers. Rey said he has reason to suspect that someone other than JT used those credit cards.
After he left Victoria’s office, Rey makes a mysterious phone call to assure the other person that Victoria bought what he was selling.
Victoria listened to a message from Sharon telling her that Rey carries a gun, and freaked out. She called Nate (Brooks Darnell), who diagnosed her with an anxiety attack, and calmed her down. Victoria swore him to secrecy and claimed she won’t be needing his services again.
Suspicious Sharon
Sharon (Sharon Case) wasn’t thrilled about Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) return, but Mariah (Camryn Grimes) reminded her how supportive she was about Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) reuniting, and would now like some of that support back from her mom, thanks.
Tessa told Mariah that she needs $20,000 to pay the people who helped resettle Crystal. Now, where, oh where, could poor Tessa get an amount like that?
Endless Love
Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) continued talking about the imminent sentencing hearing that just never seemed to arrive, as Devon, yet again, reiterated his desire to avenge Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and the baby.
Shauna (Camryn Hamm) reunited with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), but told Devon (Bryton James) she’s nervous about testifying at the hearing.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
