The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, September 12 finds Phyllis with the upper hand, Sharon with an excuse, and Victor with a lie.
Use Your Assets
Paul (Doug Davidson) told Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) that security footage indicating who spiked the sangria at The Grand Phoenix opening is missing. Neither thought Zoe (Anna Grace Barlow) would be capable of something like that.
At the same time, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) showed Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) the missing video along with Zoe’s taped confession. She wants 25% of the hotel in exchange for turning over what she has.
Phyllis pointed out that owning 100% of a hotel no one is going to won’t make them much money. She did not, however, explain how knowing who spiked the sangria is going to make potential guests feel any better about their security.
But Chelsea and Abby didn’t ask. They agreed to the deal and sign a contract. Paul arrested Zoe, who seemed to be enjoying the notoriety. All press is good press!
Not Myself
Sharon (Sharon Case) apologized for kissing Rey while under the influence. She said it’s because it mixed badly with her bipolar medication.
Psst… Sharon… Summer (Hunter King) kissed Kyle (Michael Mealor) under the influence of that exact same drug, and she wasn’t on medication. So… no excuses.
Rey reminded her that he didn’t exactly pull away. Later, Sharon told Adam she’s going out of town for a while to get her head straight. Adam somehow saw this as an encouraging sign for them. And hey, Jack left town just last week to get his head straight…
Fine and Dandy
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) worried about Billy (Jason Thompson), while Victor (Eric Braeden) forgot he hired someone to look for him. Victor insisted he’s fine, while Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) refused to lie for him. Nate (Sean Dominic) later arrived with his test results. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
