The Young and the Restless Recap: A Perfect Photo Finish!

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, October 19 features Victoria, Nikki, Sharon, and Phyllis’s blackmailer taking it up a step, while Nick wanted Abby to get him info. Plus, Dina may have a big secret.

Memories
Dina (Marla Adams) kept insisting to Ashley (Eileen Dvidson) that the Abbotts were a super-happy family (before Mama abandoned them, presumably).

A sobbing Ashley fired back that all she remembers is her parents fighting, and eventually Dina blowing up Ashley’s life by taking away John, the man Ashley loved more than anyone.

Dina babbled about proof and convinced Kyle to take her to Jabot so they can open John’s safe to find out.

Dina gave John something to hold for Ashley, which John never looked at while he was alive, and nobody found after he died. Kyle opened the safe and Dina clapped with glee.

Brother’s Keeper
Sharon (Sharon Case) needled Nick (Joshua Morrow) by blatantly flirting with Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and sexily discussing mattresses in front of him. Nick stormed off and headed for Abby (Melissa Ordway), asking her to find out why Arturo (Jason Canela) hates his brother.

Later, Rey mentioned that his wife didn’t want to have kids, while he did. Feels like that’s going to become relevant at some point.

Park Place
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) learned Ashley was voted out as CEO of Jabot and they talked about taking desperate measures to get what they want, and whether they end up being worth it.

Later, Victoria and Sharon, along with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), received an email indicating that Nikki’s one dollar payment wasn’t enough – and it wasn’t funny.
