The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, April 19 features the week ending with a new beginning.
Abby was ready to open her restaurant. Except nothing was working. Meanwhile, Summer was ready to make her marriage work with Kyle, while Lily was ready to end her marriage to Cane.
Disaster Duo
Abby (Melissa Ordway) was on the phone, screaming at various vendors about her restaurant opening that night and them falling down on the job. Lola (Sasha Calle) had no food to cook. Only fruit she didn’t order. Arturo (Jason Canela) assured his little sister could can improvise. Lola is so good she can cook without food?
The fire alarm kept going off. Arturo fixed it. The lights went out. Arturo fixed them. Abby thanked him for being so helpful. But she still couldn’t forgive him.
Maybe Abby should have been grateful for the friends she does have since, when she opens the doors to let in her customers… nobody was there.
Night Out
Summer (Hunter King) wanted to go to Abby and Lola’s big opening. Kyle didn’t. Summer talks him into it. She found a necklace and assumed it was for her.
At the restaurant, Kyle gave the necklace to Lola and she promises she’ll wait to him forever. Summer saw, but put on a happy face and congratulated Lola.
End Of the Road
Lily (Christel Khalil) came home from prison and reminded Cane (Daniel Goddard) they were over. Cane reminded that he didn’t accept that. He told Lily he’s sorry for everything he’d done.
He’d been too focused on his career. Lily wanted to know how sleeping with Juliet and kissing Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was him being focused on his career. Cane said he’d given Jill (Jess Walton) his notice. Lily said that still wasn’t going to cut it. She wanted out!
