The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, January 18 has the entire Newman family working together to protect Victor, Victoria demands that Billy tells her the truth, Cane predicts his marriage falling apart, and Kyle is not a happy camper.
Shot In the Dark
Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) shot missed the target. Which is good(?), because it’s Victor (Eric Braeden), home early from prison, and with a house-arrest ankle bracelet.
Nikki told her husband everything that happened with JT (Thad Luckinbill), and when Nick and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) arrived, they vowed to circle the wagons. Nothing is more important than keeping Victor out of jail.
Second Chance, Second Choice
Billy (Jason Thompson) walked in on Victoria kissing Cane (Daniel Goddard). Cane left and Billy tells Victoria he’s done much worse, so he can’t judge.
Victoria wanted to know, if Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) had agreed to take him back, would he be with Victoria now? Billy said the question is hypothetical, which told Victoria what she needs to know.
Billy asksed if she was getting back at him by kissing Cane, and Victoria snapped… it wasn’t the first time. She will not be Billy’s second choice!
A frazzled Cane begged Devon (Bryton James) to give him the jet so he can go see Lily (Christel Khalil) – now! Devon wanted to know what the emergency was, and Cane admitted he kissed Victoria. Devon said Cane will be confessing just to make himself feel better, and that’s not good for Lily.
Meanwhile, Billy, who also has a private jet, arrived at the prison to see Lily.
Cold Shoulder
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) made out, but didn’t go any further than that. Kyle makes hot chocolate… and a frustrated face. Hey, we hear Summer (Hunter King) is on her way home to Genoa City….
