The Young and the Restless Recap: Nikki Confesses To Nick!

The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, January 11 features a heartbreaking and stunning day for Reed — and many others.

Past Imperfect
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), afraid that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was about to confess to killing JT (Thad Luckinbill), stole the floor for herself and dramatically announced that JT physically and emotionally abused Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) was horrified, but Mac (Kelley Kruger) confirmed that Victoria wasn’t his first victim.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) told Victoria how sorry he is, and Nick (Joshua Morrow) wanted to know what in the world possessed Phyllis to do that.

Billy (Jason Thompson) chastised her as well, then later told Victoria how sorry he is that he didn’t know. Victoria told him at least she has Billy to lean on now. And she loves him.

Reed and Victoria talked and she swore she wanted to protect him. Billy wondered why Victoria told Phyllis JT abused her, but not him?

Later, at the ranch, Nick reached for the fireplace poker and Nikki freaked out, blurting out that she killed JT!

Strangers In the Night
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon (Sharon Case) were driving when their car spun out of control on the ice. It won’t start again, so they were forced to spend the night together in a motel – which only has one bed.

Rey was a gentleman and takes the couch. He and Sharon sparred over Victor’s (Eric Braeden) arrest – and playfully had a pillow fight.

Meanwhile, Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and Arturo (Jason Canela) reminisced about their past…while under a blanket to keep warm in her heat-free apartment.

Rey called to let Mia know he won’t be home that night, and when Mariah (Camryn Grimes) said her mom was stuck in the same location, Mia realized they’re together. She cried. Arturo almost kisses her. But, then he left.
