The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, January 7 is a day of baring your soul, as Nikki tells Victor she knows who killed JT, Billy and Victoria decide to honor Reed’s wishes, Arturo and Mia mend fences, and Sharon and Mariah argue about coming clean with Rey.
Victor Knows Best
Victor (Eric Braeden) tells Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) how moved he is by her faith in him. It’s because she loves him so much, right?
Eh, Nikki says, not exactly. It’s because she knows who really killed JT (Thad Luckinbill). Victor tells Nikki never to say that again. As soon as he’s cleared of all charges, Victor will take care of everything. You just keep looking pretty.
Remember Me
Billy (Jason Thompson) apologizes to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for pressuring her to get back together while she has so much else going on after she fills him in on Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) confessing to Nikki.
Reed doesn’t mind Billy being back in their lives. What’s really bumming him out is Victor’s arrest. Victoria encourages him to believe Victor didn’t kill JT. Reed asks if they can have a memorial for his dad. Billy says they can do it right at the house.
Rosales Row
Arturo (Jason Canela) and Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) talk out a few issues and actually part friends, complete with a hug.
Meanwhile, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) insists that he has a solid case against Victor and would never send an innocent man to prison.
Sharon and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) argue, with Mariah pointing out it’s karma. Victor skated on so much awful stuff he has done, let him go to jail for something he didn’t do.
Sharon tells Rey she’s worried about him. Victor is not a forgiving guy. Rey brushes her off.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
