The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, August 28, 2019, features good news for Chelsea and Nick, confusing news for Devon, and advice Billy has no intention of taking.
Texts From Beyond
Billy (Jason Thompson) broke into Adam’s (Mark Grossman) house to steal his mom’s handkerchief. Adam heard about it from his security company while talking to Chelsea about spending more time with Connor, but couldn’t figure out what’s missing.
Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) visited Billy to offer her advice, reminding him that she’s been there — so torn up over Delia’s death that she did desperate, illegal things. Billy recounted his nightmares about protecting Delia from Adam. Chloe insisted that their daughter is at peace and Billy shouldn’t torture himself over Adam.
Billy chewed gum at the same time as Adam received a text telling him to report to the side of the road.
Adam asked Nick (Joshua Morrow) to drop the restraining order so Adam can visit Christian. Nick didn’t think so. He won, he doesn’t have to play nice. Besides, he has Victor (Eric Braeden) on his side now.
Nick, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Connor (Judak McCay), and Christian spent the evening together as a happy family and, after the boys went to bed, so do Nick and Chelsea — together.
Devon (Bryton James), Elena (Btytni Sarpy), Nate (Sean Dominic), and Abby (Melissa Ordway) celebrated Elena’s return to medicine. Abby gushed about her plans for The Grand Pheonix as Adam dropped over the final papers for his sister.
At home, Devon received a letter about Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) will, which confused him, since it was supposed to be settled years ago. And Devon has really been enjoying the money his grandma left him. Giving it back would put a real crimp in his style. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
