The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, March 4 features the new month kicking off with some courtroom drama! Phyllis takes the stand and tries to help Nikki, Victoria, and Sharon…in her own way, while Christine fights back. Plus, Summer receives some stunning news.
The Truth And Nothing But the Truth
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was sworn in and proceeded to swear that JT (Thad Luckinbill) was abusing Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was protecting her daughter, and Phyllis and Sharon (Sharon Case) just stood by, gaping.
Upon cross-examination, Christine (Lauralee Bell) got Phyllis to admit that JT was facing away from Nikki when she hit him, and that she never tried telling him to stop before going into whacking mode.
Michael added that they can’t even prove that JT is dead – his body wasn’t in the park, and Brittany (Lauren Woodland) pointed out that, if the women were convicted, Phyllis will be able to get rid of two romantic rivals in one swoop.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) also testified that the video of the women taking out JT’s body was sent to her anonymously, and she’s sure it wasn’t anyone at Dark Horse. Michael was really tired of being lied to and blindsided.
Bad Vibrations
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy (Jason Thompson) worried that the bad publicity from Phyllis’ testimony will hurt Jabot, but Kerry (Alice Hunter) warned that it’s too early discuss unseating her boss as CEO.
Miracle Cure
Summer (Hunter King) spent the morning supporting her mother and haggling with Nick (Joshua Morrow) over whether or not Phyllis did the right thing.
But then she got a life-changing phone call – Summer’s a match and can be Lola’s (Sasha Calle) live liver donor! Well, that changes things quite a bit, doesn’t it?
